Terms of Sale

These terms apply when you make or buy a book on Pencil Otter. The site is run by Digital Solutions (“we”, “us”), trading as Pencil Otter, based in North Macedonia. Questions: support@pencilotter.com.

What you buy

A personalized, printable activity book for children aged 4–8: a digital PDF of 20 pages, in both US Letter and A4, made from the answers you give. Before you pay, you see three real pages from your book for free. Nothing is shipped; you print the book yourself.

Price and payment

The price ($5.99 for one book) is shown before you check out. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle takes your payment, handles tax and issues your receipt, and Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Your card statement will show a charge from Paddle.

Delivery

Right after payment you can download your book on the same page, and we email you download links, usually within a few minutes. The links work for 30 days; you can get fresh ones any time at https://pencilotter.com/downloads. We keep your book for 90 days after purchase and then delete it, so please save a copy.

What you may do with the book

You get a personal licence: print as many copies as your own family needs and use them at home, in the car or on holiday. Please don’t resell the book or its pages, share the PDF publicly, or use it in a paid class or product. Teachers and groups: please contact us.

Your answers

You confirm you are the child’s parent or guardian, or have their permission. First names and interests are checked against a list of words we can’t print (for example brand characters), and we may decline an answer. Please enter a first name only, never a full name.

Our content

The puzzles, text and artwork are our original work (or licensed to us) and remain ours; the licence above is what you receive.

Safety

The activities are designed for children aged 4–8 with an adult nearby. Some pages ask children to look around them (for example a scavenger hunt): stay close, and on a road trip a child should never distract the driver.

Refunds

If your book isn’t right, you can get your money back within 14 days. See our Refund Policy.

Liability

We take care to make every book correct and printable. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a book is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version that applies to your order is the one shown when you bought it.
